Leadership support for Bahraini women appreciated

Manama, Aug 23 (BNA): Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium Dr. Bahiya Jawad Al-Jishi has expressed great pride in the royal confidence vested in her by appointing her as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium. Dr. Al-Jishi expressed sincere appreciation of the support provided by Bahrain's leadership, represented by HM the King, HRH Prime Minister and HRH Crown Prince, for uplifting Bahraini women's status. She stressed to exert utmost efforts to take on the national responsibility, chiefly accentuating Bahrain's standing internationally. She emphasized to continue the march initiated by her predecessors Ambassadors in further reinforcing the solid relations with Belgium at all levels in the interest of the two countries and their peoples. She extended genuine thanks to HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King and President of Supreme Council for Women, for her supportive efforts toward empowering the Bahraini women to contribute to the development march led by HM the King. She congratulated HRH Princess Sabeeka on the 14th anniversary of SCW. She also extended earnest gratitude to the Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammad Al Khalifa for his support to make her mission successful.
