Palestinian dispute gave Israel opportunity to commit crimes: Saleh

SANA'A, Dec. 28 (Saba) - President Ali Abdullah Saleh said Sunday
that the Palestinian-Palestinian dispute has given Israel the
opportunity for committing its crimes against the Palestinian people
in Gaza Strip.

During a phone call with the Head of Hamas Political Bureau Khaled
Mashal, the President indicated that the controversy in the
Palestinian arena has been reflected negatively on the Arab attitude
towards the just Palestinian cause to resist Israel Occupation and
the unjust blockade imposed on Gaza.

He renewed the Yemeni condemnation to the Israeli barbaric war
crimes on the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.

Moreover, Saleh reiterated the importance of the Palestinian
national unity and overcome the differences between Fatah and Hamas
to ensure healing the Palestinian rift and strengthening national
unity to deter Israeli aggression.

For his part, Mashal briefed the President on the Israeli aggression
and heinous massacres against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip,
accentuating the significance of taking a unified Arab position
towards them.
