Energy minister receives Indian ambassador

Manama, Aug. 18 (BNA): Energy Minister Dr. Abdulhussain bin Ali Mirzan received here today the newly-appointed Indian Ambassador to Bahrain Alok Kumar Sinhaand. Dr. Mirza lauded the ever-progressing solid outstanding relations bonding Bahrain and India, especially in the fields of energy. He highlighted the projects being implemented in the oil and gas, as well as the electricity and water sectors in Bahrain and the joint achievements since His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s recent visit to India, and directives to enhance bilateral cooperation and economic and trade complementarity. Ambassador Sinha thanked the minister and all energy sector affiliates for the warm welcome and the hospitality, and affirmed his country’s constant readiness to bolster joint co-operation in the energy sector to serve the interests and aspirations of the two countries.
