Health Minister visits GCC Executive Office

Riyadh, Aug. 17 (BNA): Minister of Health Sadiq bin Abdulkarim Al-Shehabi paid a visit to the Executive Office of the Council of Health Ministers of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) here today and met the Office's Director General, Dr. Tawfiq bin Ahmed Khoja. The two sides discussed a number of health issues of common interest to the GCC countries and Dr. Khoja appreciated the efforts made by Minister Al-Shehabi in coordination and integration between the GCC Executive Office and the Ministry of Health in Bahrain, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA). The minister in his press statement following the meeting praised the GCC Executive Office's successful scientific and health programmes which have been awarded a number of regional and international prizes, SPA reported on Monday.
