Gulf delegation visits community welfare centre

Manama, Aug. 13 (BNA): A delegation of participants in the Third Gulf Forum for Elderly Welfare visited Muharraq Community Welfare Centre (for the Elderly) affiliated to the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD). Hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain August in the period August 13-19, the forum is organised by the Regional Consultancy Network. The delegation was received by the Head of Elderly Welfare Section, Jamal Badou, and Amina Jalal the Director of the Cenre, who gave a detailed presentation about the centre's care, health, social services as well as entertainment activities and programmes for the elderly. They delegation the centre's departments and units and met the elderly beneficiaries of the centre and had conversation with them to communicate feelings of amity and familial bonds besides the exchange of expertise with Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in this field.
