36 outstanding students on educational trip to UK

Manama, Aug 12 (BNA): Nasser Center for Rehabilitation and Vocational Training is to organize an educational and cultural trip for 36 outstanding students to the United Kingdom during the summer holiday. The programme aims to provide the students with leadership skills, self-reliance, recognizing the importance of teamwork and the importance of communication and opening up to the world. Nasser Center's Managing-Director Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi said that the students' international educational trips program is designed to reward outstanding students, encouraging them to maintain their distinctiveness and to be a model to follow by the rest of the students. He added that the programme comes in line with the Nasser Center's efforts to expand the students' creativity and innovation, promote the spirit of good citizenship and disciplinary behavior so as they take part in serving the homeland and leadership. He underlined the support of Chairman of the Board of Trustees Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and his firm belief in providing proper education for the youth as they represent a key factor in nation-building. Deputy Director for Student Operations and Services, Salah Al-Abdullah said that the educational trips are good opportunity for the students to be familiarized with cultures and civilizations of countries they visit. .
