HRH Premier congratulated by senior officials, citizens

Manama, Aug. 12 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has received more cables of congratulations from senior officials and citizens on obtaining the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Award in recognition of his sound visions and pioneering role in achieving sustainable development in the field of information and communication technology (ICT) locally and at the international level. Senior officials and citizens lauded HRH Premier’s innumerable ICT achievements, voicing pride in the award which they described as a new milestone in his rich record of landmark accomplishments. They pointed out that the global prize will be conferred on HRH the Prime Minister as a result of his constructive efforts and directives to take advantage of ICT to achieve sustainable development in the kingdom. The global award reflects the prestigious status currently enjoyed by Bahrain at the regional and international levels, they also said. They prayed to Allah Almighty to bless HRH Premier with abundant good health and happiness and guide him on the right path.
