HRH Premier congratulated on ITU distinction

Manama, Aug.11 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa today received a cable of congratulations from Deputy Premier Jawad bin Salim Al-Arrayed on winning the Information and Communication Technology in Sustainable Development Award, which will be conferred on him by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). He stressed the Premier's track-record of economic and social achievements, hailing the ITU award, which as conferred on him by unanimous vote of jury, as an international acknowledgement of Bahrain's landmark development strides . He paid tribute to the Premier for promoting Bahrain's standing in international arenas, praying to Allah Almighty to bless him with abundant health and happiness to achieve loyal citizens' welfare.
