HRH Premier congratulated on ITU honour

Manama, Aug.11 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa today received more cables of congratulations from senior officials and citizens on winning the Information and Communication Technology in Sustainable Development Award, which will be conferred on him by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). They hailed the ITU honour which, they said, recognises HRH the Premier 's pioneering role in supporting the achievement of the sustainable development goals on the local and international levels. They paid tribute to HRH the Premier for his farsighted vision and dedicated efforts which ensured Bahrain landmark strides in the sectors of information technology and telecommunications. Senior officials and citizens took pride in HRH the Premier's achievements, hailing his track-record in serving Bahrain and promoting its development in all fields. They wished the Premier abundant health and happiness to continue serving Bahrain.
