RCO Secretary General receives Yemeni diplomat

Manama, Aug. 9 (BNA): Secretary General of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Dr. Mustafa Sayed received Yemeni embassy Charge d’Affaires Hassan Masoud bin Majli to coordinate efforts in carrying out the royal directives to provide urgent humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people. He stressed the organisation’s continuous humanitarian work to ease the suffering of the Yemeni people and contribute to the reconstruction and development of Yemen, in line with the directives of Personal Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and RCO Board of Trustees Chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the support of the leadership, the government and the Bahraini people. On his part, the Yemeni embassy Charge d’Affaires expressed heartfelt thanks and appreciation to HM the King for his humanitarian initiatives. It is to note that RCO has sent 910 tonnes of urgent medical and humanitarian aid to the Yemeni people to alleviate their suffering from the current hard circumstances undergone by their country.
