North Qld woman missing since Xmas Day
A search is underway for a woman in north Queensland who is believed to have been missing since Christmas Day.
The search is taking place in bushland near the woman's hometown of Yarrabah, south-east of Cairns.
About 30 State Emergency Service volunteers from Edmonton, Gordonvale and Yarrabah are assisting police from the Yarrabah police station in the search, the Department of Emergency Services said in a statement on Saturday.
The Cairns Emergency Management Queensland Rescue Helicopter is also scouring the area.
