Sana'a Forum for Cooperation leaders to meet next Tuesday in

SANA'A, Dec. 26 (Saba) - Leaders of the Sana'a Forum for Cooperation
are to hold a summit in capital Khartoum of Sudan next Tuesday, 26

Ali al-Aiashi, deputy foreign minister for Arab, Africa and Asia
affairs told the weekly that the leaders of Yemen and Sudan,
Ethiopia and Somalia would discuss several topics related to the
decisions of the last meeting and progress on implementing them to
meet goals the congregation was established for.

Al-Aiashi said that the leaders would also discuss the latest
developments in the African Horn, especially the situation in
Somalia as well as coordinating efforts for a Somali reconciliation
to return normal life and stability to the African country.

They also would discuss means of enhancing regional security and
stability within the new challenge of piracy, he added.

He made it clear that the preparatory committees for the summit
would hold meeting on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi would head Yemeni side in the
meeting of the political committee and Minister of Trade and
Industry Yahya al-Mutawakel would head the Yemeni side in the
economic committee, al-Aiashi said.

He pointed out that the summit would discuss the 2009-2013 future
plan of the forum.

The Sana'a forum includes Yemen, Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia.
