Draft understanding memo between Yemen, Saudi Arabia done

SANA'A, Dec. 26 (Saba) - Yemen and Saudi Arabia have agreed to
activate a draft memorandum of understanding on the mutual
cooperation in the field of social insurance.

Head of the Public Establishment for Social Insurance Ahmed Saleh
Saif said on Friday that the draft memo would be signed by the two
countries during the coming meeting of the Yemeni-Saudi Coordination
Council, which will be held next year in Aden.

The Yemeni official added that the memorandum of understanding
includes ways to enhance the cooperation between the two countries'
insurance institutions in the areas of exchange experiences and
studies, training and rehabilitation and countering insurance
evasion.

"The importance of this memorandum is to open wider horizons for
cooperation between the two countries in the field of insurances and
exchange cash reserves of more than one million Yemeni expatriates
working in Saudi Arabia", said Saif.
