Deputy premier praises QQA's achievements

Manama, July 15 (BNA): Deputy Premier and President of the Supreme Council for the Development of Education and Training HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the National Authority for Qualifications and Quality Assurance of Education and Training (QQA)’s Board of Directors Chairman Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Fadhel and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Jawaher Al Mudhahki. Dr. Al-Fadhel presented the deputy premier with the certificate granted to QQA following the success of its external review by the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) from March 3 to 5, 2015. The deputy premier congratulated QQA and its affiliates on such a landmark achievement that adds to its key role in promoting the culture of quality and developing the performance of the education and training sector in the kingdom. The accomplishment also reflects the advanced status reached by QQA at the local, regional and international levels, thanking QQA for its efforts to improve the quality of education and training. Al-Fadhel expressed sincere thanks and gratitude to Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak for his interest in QQA and follow-up on its work, being among the initiatives to develop education and training in the kingdom. He affirmed that the deputy premier’s directives have a positive impact on QQA’s work and duties. He voiced pride in QQA’s achievement, describing it as an international recognition of its success in meeting the international quality standards.
