Arrangements underway for setting up largest national library

SANA'A, Dec. 23 (Saba) - Arrangements got underway for the
construction of the largest national library as concerned
authorities started surveying the site where the library would be
set up.

Deputy Chairman of the General Authority of Book Ahmed al-Awadhi
said coordination with authorities to provide the project with
electricity and sanitary services is ongoing.

He expected implementation of the project, which will cost $ 36
million and would be completed over two years, to start within the
next six months.
