Council calls to sight Shawwal moon

Manama, July 14 (BNA): The Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs said the competent Moon-sighting Panel will meet in the Council's auditorium in the evening of Thursday to sight or receive reports from witnesses sighting the new moon of the month of Shawwal. The Council urged everyone who could testify sighting the new moon of Shawwal to provide their testimony to the Panel. The Council has offered its best wishes of blessings, prosperity and welfare to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty's Government led by HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, Royal Family members, the people of Bahrain, and the Muslim world.
