Information minister praises ties with Jordan

Manama, July 13 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi has lauded the deep-rooted fraternal Bahraini-Jordanian relations and their steady progress in the political, economic, social, security, media and cultural fields. He made the statements as he received here today the Jordanian Ambassador to Bahrain Mohammed Ali Siraj, with whom he reviewed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and coordination in the media field. They also discussed regional and global issues of mutual concern. The minister expressed the kingdom’s pride in Jordan’s firm stances in support of its security and stability, as well as development and reform marches, highlighting the two countries’ similar stances vis-à-vis regional and international issues, and combating extremism and terrorism. Jordanian envoy expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the minister for his interest in enhancing joint media action, which, he said, reflects the solid brotherly ties bonding the two countries and their peoples. He lauded the kingdom’s democratic strides and progress boom achieved within the framework of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s Reform Project.
