Bahrain polytechnic graduates support national economy

Manama, July 12 (BNA): Bahrain Polytechnic carried out a survey of all graduates over three months in cooperation and coordination with official bodies, within its ongoing follow-up.
The results showed that more than 90% of the students got jobs, while more than 5% of them are pursuing their higher studies or completing the requirements of an advanced professional certificate in their fields and 2.6% are entrepreneurs.
Directorate of Quality Measurement, Analysis, and Planning (QMAP) at Bahrain Polytechnic conducted the study based on official information received from the management of relevant authorities, direct communication with a wide range of graduates and Bahrain Polytechnic Alumni Club.
Acting Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Polytechnic Dr. Mohammed Ebrahim Al Aseeri highlighted the keen interest of the Board of Trustees, chaired by Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, to develop work and cal for concerted efforts in order to achieve the Polytechnic’s objectives.
He said that the Polytechnic is keen on implementing its objectives so as to serve the national economy, through preparing qualified graduates with good reputation among employers.
QMAP Director Dr. Reem Albuainain said that conducting such surveys help Bahrain Polytechnic to know its current location in terms of implementing its strategic objectives and its status among the rest of the higher education institutions in the Kingdom.
