HRH Premier lauds UK ambassador for boosting ties

Manama, July 12 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has lauded the role played by the UK Ambassador to Bahrain Iain Lindsay in broadening areas of cooperation, and strengthening the long-standing Bahrain-UK relations. He is among the ambassadors who dedicated most of their efforts to build a strategic Bahraini-British partnership based on full cooperation and mutual respect, he said. Receiving the outgoing British Ambassador at the Gudaibiya Palace today, HRH Premier lauded the outstanding historical Bahraini-British relations and the existing innumerable areas of bilateral cooperation. He affirmed the strength of Bahraini-British cooperation at the bilateral and international levels. HRH the Prime Minister reviewed with the UK Ambassador regional and global issues, and wished him every success in his future assignments. Ambassador Lindsay credited HRH Premier for the success of his diplomatic mission, noting that Prime Minister’s constant support and keenness to maintain the advanced level of bilateral cooperation, coordination and mutual understanding had enabled him to assume his duties easily. He expressed his country’s appreciation of the government, led by HRH the Prime Minister, for its support to enhancing joint cooperation. He affirmed Britain’s constant keenness to bolster cooperation with Bahrain in various fields.
