Nasser bin Hamad congratulates endurance team

Manama, July 11 (BNA) His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee and Captain of Bahrain Royal Endurance Team said the latest achievement of Bahrain in Compiegne race in France is a positive step that would benefit the team in their preparation for the coming World Juniors Championship in Chile. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad al Khalifa said participating in France championship would boost team members performance in the international championship, especially after achieving the second and third places, proving the development and improvement of Bahraini endurance sport. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa said the results achieved by the team in the beginning of the European endurance season were honourable and would have a positive impact on the performance of the team and give team members motivation to achieve more good results in the upcoming tournaments and competitions. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa appreciated team members for demonstrating a great performance in the competition and representing the Kingdom of Bahrain in international sports arenas. It is worth mentioning that team members Yousif Al Jabbouri and Nasser Al Otaibi bagged the second and third places at the competition, finishing in 05:42:13 and 05:44:44 respectively.
