King sends condolences to Saudi monarch

Manama, July 10 (BNA)His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa sent a cable of condolences to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud on the death of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Minister of State, member of the Cabinet, Advisor to and Personal Envoy of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Supervisor of Foreign Affairs.
"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has lost with his death one of its dedicated and loyal figures who devoted themselves to serving their country and advocating the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations", he said, stressing the deceased's prolific legacy.
HM the King paid tribute to late HRH Prince Saud Al-Faisal, who epitomized, through his position as a veteran foreign minister, his country's principled policy that advocates peace, justice, the protection of all states' rights and the defence of just Arab and Islamic causes.
He paid homage to the deceased, hailing his extensive expertise, political statesmanship, far-sightedness and competence in tackling political issues at defining moments and critical junctures, which earned him regional, Arab and international esteem and respect.
"His death is a big loss to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, Arab and Islamic countries", HM the King said and added that Bahrain was plunged into deep grief by his sad demise, taking pride in his honourable stances in support of the Kingdom. "His historic and courageous stances in support of Bahrain's security, stability, development and prosperity will remain engraved forever in all Bahrainis' memory", he said.
He paid homage late HRH Prince Saud Al-Faisal, who was the voice of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as much as the Kingdom of Bahrain in different regional and international platforms and arenas. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest his soul in eternal peace and give the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Royal Family fortitude and patience.
