Deputy premier presented with PhD thesis copy

Manama, July 7 (BNA): Deputy Premier HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa received at the Gudaibiya Palace today the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) Governor Rasheed Al-Maraji who was accompanied by CBB’s Follow-up Director Dr. Ahmed Bumtaia. Dr. Bumtaia presented the deputy premier with a copy of his PhD thesis entitled: "GCC monetary union prospective effects on trade and economic growth" which he obtained from Kingston University in Britain. The deputy premier lauded the key and vital topics tackled by the study, commending the efforts exerted by researcher Dr. Bumtaia to conduct the study and compile the thesis. Dr. Bumtaia expressed sincere thanks to the deputy premier for meeting, praising his constant support scientific research and interest in education.
