Yemen joining to GCC organizations on Gulf leaders' table
MUSCAT, Dec. 24 (Saba) - The accession of Yemen to a number of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) will be on the table of the 29th GCC summit to be held in the Omani capital, Muscat, on December 29 - 30.
During his meeting with Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi in Muscat, the GCC
Secretary General Abdulrahman Al-Attiyah affirmed on Wednesday that the preparatory
meetings of GCC have already discussed joining Yemen to some of the GCC
organizations.
The minister praised efforts of al-Attiyah to promote Yemen's accession to Gulf
Cooperation Council, asserting that such efforts would release the common interests
of all sides.
The meeting also reviewed cooperation relations between Yemen and the GCC.
