Yemen, AIDMO discuss mining, industrial cooperation

SANA'A, Dec. 24 (Saba) - Yemen and Arabic Industrial Development and Mining
Organization (AIDMO) discussed here on Wednesday aspects of strengthening
cooperation in fields of industry and minerals.

Prime Minister Ali Mujawar and AIDMO Director General Mohamed Ben Youssef held talks
over availing from the Organization's experience in areas of mining and its related
studies and researches as well as the promotion process for investment purposes in
mining and industry.

The meeting dealt with training the Yemeni cadres in this field and the role of
AIDMO to assist in improving human resources in this sector.

Mujawar has praised efforts the AIDMO exerts to serve Arab industrial development
trends, confirming the necessity of boosting cooperation between Yemen and AIDMO.

Ben Youssef made clear that the organization is about to issue a geologic map
covering minerals in the Arab world, adding that this map aims to promote for
mineral industries and enhance the investment integration among Arab States.
