Egypt's Attorney-General assassination denounced

Manama, June 29 (BNA): Bahrain's Public Prosecution condemned in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist attack that resulted in the death of Egypt's Attorney-General Hisham Barakat. The Prosecution said in a statement that the assassination of judge Barakat targeted justice and the rule of law. The statement highlighted the rejection of all forms of terrorism, and stressed the significance of upholding justice and protecting people's rights and freedoms. Advocate-General Ali bin Fadhil Al-Buainain extended condolences to Egypt's Supreme Judicial Council, prosecutors and judges and the family of the deceased.
