Jafari Endowments condemns mosque blast in Kuwait

Manama, June 27 (BNA): The Jafari Endowments Directorate has strongly condemned the heinous criminal terror blast which targeted Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in Al-Sawaber neighbourhood in Kuwait city, leaving many innocent people killed and injured. Jafari Endowments Board Chairman Shaikh Mohsin Al Asfoor said in a statement issued by the directorate that the terror crimes which targeted Saudi Arabia before and hit Kuwait yesterday showed clearly that the perpetrators and masterminds have nothing to do with Islam or any Islamic doctrine as Islam is the religion of compassion, tolerance and humaneness. He added the perpetrators of those criminal acts aimed to ignite sectarian sedition among Muslims and drag them into fierce conflicts. However, he stressed, those desperate attempts will be doomed to failure thanks to the vigilance of the people in the region which is capable of thwarting such conspiracies which are rejected and denounced by all social components. Shaikh Al Asfoor expressed confidence in the ability of the Kuwaiti specialised security authorities to stave off terrorism, extending condolences to the Kuwaiti Amir and people on the victims of the sad incident and wishing Kuwait and the Islamic countries constant security and stability.
