Iraqi Prime Minister receives Bahraini Ambassador to Iraq

Manama, June 25 (BNA): The Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Dr. Haider Al Abadi has entrusted the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Iraq with conveying his greetings to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He also conveyed his best wishes for further prosperity and development to the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirming Iraq’s steady position of non interference in the internal affairs of other countries and expressed his country’s keen desire to build the best of ties with regional and international States. This came as the Iraqi Premier Dr. Haider Al Abadi received in his office this evening the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain Salah Al Maliki who outlined the repercussions of the statement issued by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry and was not in consonance with the good neighborliness principles and thus deemed in accordance with international conventions form of interference in the domestic affairs of other countries. They also reviewed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and ways of maintaining and developing them.
