Gunners United qualifies to Nasser 8 semi-finals

Manama, June 24 (BNA): Batelco Gunners United football team has been announced as the third qualifier to the semi-finals of the eighth Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Football Championship (Nasser 8) and the first Nasser bin Hamad Ramadan Sports Games after winning Forever by 3-1 at Khalifa Sports City in Isa Town. The Gunners will meet the winner of the final match in the playoffs between Nomas and Al Nawayef. Scoring for the winners were the international star Frdric Omar Kanoute at the 8th minute, Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa at the 53rd minute and Mahmoud Abdulrahman (Ringo) in the 79th minute, while Abdulaziz Showaiter scored Forever’s only goal in the 71st minute.
