PM attends ceremony on Arab Family Day in Sana'a

SANA'A, Dec. 23 (Saba)- Prime Minister Ali Mujawar attended on
Tuesday a ceremony organized in Sana'a by the Ministry of the Social
Affairs and Labor and Higher Council for Motherhood and Childhood on
occasion of Arab Family Day.

The ceremony was organized in coordination with the Arab league, organization of
Arab family and
UNICEF.Some 150 participants from different Arab countries are
taking part in the conference In the opening session of the
ceremony, Mujawar conveyed greetings of President Ali Abdullah Saleh
to the participants on this occasion, affirming importance of
offering care for the family as it base for strong future for the
nation.He highlighted efforts exerted by the Arab organizations in
field of family issues.

He made it clear that the Yemeni governmentin its executive programs for the
electoral platform of president
Saleh focused on Yemeni family, pointing out to the steps taken by
the government especially making amendments on laws associated with
women rights.

The prime minister also said that there are still many
things have to be achieved to enhance condition of the Yemeni family
in different sectors.In this occasion, we announced our total
soldiery with the Palestinian family especially in Gaza who are
suffering from the siege imposed by Israeli occupation, he said.He
called on the international community to shoulder its humanitarian
and legal responsibility to make an end for this unfair siege.AH
