BACA president receives Bahraini researcher

Manama, June 24 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received here today the Bahraini Researcher and Musician Mohammed Jamal, who presented her with a copy of his book entitled: "Dictionary of Local Expressions and Phrases." Shaikha Mai lauded Jamal's work and efforts, and underscored the importance of preserving Bahrain's authentic culture, affirming Bahrain's keen interest in this aspect. She highlighted that Bahrain's 2015 cultural celebration is held under the theme 'Our Heritage..Our Wealth.' Jamal expressed thanks and appreciation to Shaikha Mai for her constant efforts aiming to enrich Bahrain's cultural scene. He also praised BACA's support for Bahraini talents in all fields.
