Suspects in Deraz Molotov attack arrested

Manama, June 20 (BNA): Seven suspects were arrested for their involvement in rioting, vandalism and hurling of Molotov cocktails at a police patrol in Deraz, the Deputy Chief of Public Security said. The arrests were part of the police duty to protect security, maitain public order and fight terrorism. The jeep was damaged and a policeman was injured in the attack that took place on June 21. The Chief said that legal proceedings were taken and the crime scene was examined. The investigation led to the identification and arrest of the suspects after warrants were obtained from the Public Prosecution. The Deputy Chief of Public Security affirmed that the Interior Ministry will continue to fight terrorism with professionalism and proper legal means.
