Ghurair: UAE's proposals at the GCC parliamentary meeting well-received

Muscat, Dec 24, 2008 (WAM) - Speaker of the Federal National Council (FNC) Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ghurair said here yesterday that the four proposals UAE presented to the second meeting of Speakers of GCC Shoura councils, houses of representatives and parliaments have been accepted by the delegations of all other member states.

Speaking to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), Al Ghurair said that the four proposals focussed on streamlining the annual meeting of GCC heads of Shoura Councils and parliaments and coordinating among them on important issues while attending regional and international parliamentary meetings.
