STX Shipbuilding wins 138 bln won order for two vessels

SEOUL, Dec. 23 (Yonhap) -- STX Shipbuilding Co., South Korea's fourth-largest
shipbuilder, said Tuesday that it has received a 138 billion won ($103 million)
order to build two chemical carriers.
The deal with an European shipping company calls on STX Shipbuilding to deliver
the vessels by August 2010, the company said in a regulatory filing without
identifying the name of the buyer.
Shares of STX Shipbuilding were trading at 13,800 won on the Seoul bourse as of
11:40 a.m., down 3.16 percent.
