HM the King, Kuwaiti Amir hold talks

Manama, June 9 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah today held talks at Al-Sakhir Palace. His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and part of the delegation accompanying the Kuwaiti Amir were present. HM King Hamad welcomed the Kuwaiti Amir and his accompanying delegation which comprised a number of senior Kuwaiti Ruling Family members, and senior government officials. The two leaders discussed issues of joint interest, joint GCC action, as well as the latest regional and global developments. They called for the need to increase joint consultation and coordination through the Joint Committee, and follow-up on the implementation of the agreements signed between the two brotherly countries in order to achieve common interests in all fields. HM the King lauded Kuwait's constant support to the kingdom. Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah expressed delight at visiting the kingdom and meeting HM King Hamad, HRH Premier and HRH the Crown Prince. He affirmed the solid deep-rooted Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations. He praised the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him and his accompanying delegation.
