Paris to host THIS IS BAHRAIN next week

Manama, June 7 (BNA): The Bahrain Federation of Expatriate Associations (BFEA) said that the French capital Paris would host their next ‘THIS IS BAHRAIN” event.
Up to 200 Bahraini and expatriate delegates will showcase the reality of life in the Kingdom of Bahrain at a series of events culminating in the ‘THIS IS BAHRAIN’ in Paris Exhibition, Conference and Dialogue next week.
“This is our fourth international event following on from our inaugural event in London in May 2014, Berlin in October 2104 and Brussels in January,.” BFEA Secretary General Betsy B Mathieson said.
"Our message is one of peace and love and we will be visiting some very famous religious landmarks to offer a multi-faith Prayer for peace from His Majesty King Hamad and the People of Bahrain to the people of France. The prayers will be offered by religious leaders of all faiths from Bahrain and from France and we will be showing our solidarity with the people of France. We want to share with the world the wonderful safe, peaceful, multicultural lifestyle we all enjoy in Bahrain which is home to us all," she said.
The Alliance Française and the French School and French Language Association along with other schools, clubs, societies, churches, mosques, temples, Bahrain International Circuit, Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry and business men and women keen to make new business contacts will be in the group traveling to Paris.
“We are very grateful to our many sponsors and donors whose support is very important to us as we travel the world to promote Bahrain as a haven of religious freedom and peaceful co-existence just as it has been for centuries, but be assured that at the same time we also proudly show the modern, dynamic, progressive, innovative Kingdom of Bahrain as it is today," Mathieson said
Guests visiting the exhibition will be able to see all the history, achievements and progress of the Government when they visit the Exhibition stands of the Shura Council, Ministry of Interior Governates and ministries such as Industry and Commerce, Health, Education, Social Development, Housing, Youth and Sports.
"Guests are always amazed when they visit the exhibition stands and see the 200 year old Hindu temple, Jewish synagogue, Sacred Heart Church, Buddhist temple, and mosques and realise we have such total religious freedom in Bahrain. Also the fact that the Kingdom of Bahrain is a welfare state with free health care, education and housing and other vital social services without paying taxes is something they find quite incredible," Mathieson said.
“This is a powerful demonstration of the sincere commitment to meet the needs of citizens and residents by the Government, led by the Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, who has worked tirelessly to serve the welfare of his people, with support from the Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa whose 2030 Vision encapsulates the aspirations of a modern Kingdom."
Mathieson added that French companies that heard about ‘THIS IS BAHRAIN’ in Paris contacted BFEA to ask if they could attend and if there were any opportunities for business to business meetings with Bahraini companies and businessmen and women, so we are also facilitating this in Paris.
"This is an excellent example of the success of ‘THIS IS BAHRAIN’ events”. It is clear that the French are interested in further developing our excellent business, cultural and friendship ties," she said.
