Davoudi: Tehran, Caracas interested in developing tie
Tehran, Dec 22, IRNA - First Vice President Parviz Davoudi said that Iranian and Venezuelan
officials are interested in developing bilateral ties in different
fields.
In a meeting with Venezuelan Light Industry and Commerce Minister
William Contreras, Davoudi referred to the establishment of a joint
economic commission by the two countries in near future and hoped that
it will help enhance bilateral relations.
Pointing to the talks and visits between the two countries'
presidents, he further noted that such meetings are effective in
strengthening cooperation between the two nations.
He was also optimistic that all the agreements signed by the two sides
will soon be implemented.
Contreras, for his part, expressed pleasure with development of
bilateral ties and said that political will of Caracas is based on
expansion of relations with Tehran.
Venezuela is determined to put into practice the accords signed by the
two countries, he said.
He also appreciated Iran for hosting an exhibition of ALBA members
states in Tehran.
