RAP Holds Human Rights Programme

Manama, June 1 (BNA): Royal Academy of Police (RAP) has organized through the Officer Training College a human rights programme for public security officers entitled "Human Rights Standards in Police Work" The programme was organized for the 3rd consecutive year in association with the Bahrain Political Development Institute and the National Institute for Human Rights. The Commandment of RAP, Colonel Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa expressed his thanks and appreciation for the two organizations for their efforts in enhancing the skills of public security officers. The Commander of Officer Training Collage Lt-Col Ammar Mustafa highlighted that the programme is held once a year with the aim to reinforce human rights principles in police work. The programme comprises three workshops.
