National Guard staff director receives Saudi advisor

Manama, June 1 (BNA): Staff Director of the National Guard Major General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa received here today the Advisor at the Saudi Eastern Region Province Dr. Shaikh Ghazi Abudulaziz Al-Shammari. The staff director welcomed the visit of Dr. Shaikh Ghazi Abudulaziz Al-Shammari, calling for the need to instill the precepts of the Islamic religion in the younger generations. He commended the tremendous efforts exerted by Saudi Arabia in promoting the religious knowledge and values. Dr. Shaikh Ghazi Abudulaziz Al-Shammari lauded the kingdom's status as a land of co-existence and fraternity. "Bahrain is an oasis of co-existence between all its segments," he said. They discussed the Ramadan religious programme, prepared in collaboration with the National Guard in Bahrain. The programme tackles Islamic tolerant precepts. The Staff Director presented Shaikh Al-Shammari with the National Guard Shield in recognition of his efforts.
