Bahraini-Mexican cultural cooperation discussed

Manama, May 28 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa today met with Ambassador Jose Arturo Trejo-Nava of Mexico to Saudi Arabia, and discussed enhancing cultural cooperation. BACA President noted Bahrain's keenness to enrich its culture by communicating with other cultures, inviting Mexico to take part in cultural activities in Bahrain. The meeting discussed preparations for holding Yoliztli Widen de la Laguna Folkloric Ballet, in collaboration with the Mexican Embassy, next month in Bahrain. Mexican Ambassador commended the BACA efforts in reinforcing cultural activities in Bahrain, pointing out the prominent role played by culture in connecting peoples. He stressed willingness to achieve further cultural cooperation with BACA. MJ
