HRH Crown Prince meets British Ambassador

Manama, May 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today met Iain Lindsay, the British Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, at Riffa Palace. During the meeting, His Royal Highness highlighted the long-standing strategic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom. His Royal Highness emphasised that the exchange of visits between the two countries serves to support their commitment to shared strategic goals and interests, and bolsters cooperation and coordination on various regional and international issues. His Royal Highness and the British Ambassador also discussed recent regional and international developments as well as other issues of mutual interest. The British Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness and highlighted the important role played by His Royal Highness in the advancement of strategic relations between the two countries.
