HM King's vision for political development hailed

Manama, May 27 (BNA): The Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD)'s Executive Director, Dr. Yasser Al-Alawi, said the reforms of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa constituted a new launch towards atmospheres of democracy and political participation and consolidated the state of the institutions and the law. He considered the Institute's greatest achievement is its actual contribution to achieve the vision of His Majesty the King in raising the level of political awareness in the Bahraini society and consolidation of democracy in the Kingdom. Dr. Yasser Al-Alawi told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) has been established to become a platform for development of political awareness and to boost political practice on sound basis commensurate with the Kingdom's vast vistas of freedoms and rights enjoyed by the people of Bahrain. He said it is a vision which realizes that political development is an ongoing accumulative process for which the wise leadership has provided all assets and components to support continuous harvesting of further democratic gains. Al-Alawi said the BIPD enjoys the necessary support to carry on its role and responsibilities in the manner which satisfies the ambitions and aspirations of the society to boost the democratic atmospheres in the Kingdom and to optimize its accomplishments.
