Hanjin Heavy wins 219 bln won deal for patrol ships
SEOUL, Dec. 22 (Yonhap) -- Hanjin Heavy Industries and Construction Co., South
Korea's fifth-largest shipyard, said Monday that it has won a 219 billion won
(US$171 million) deal to build nine patrol ships.
The deal with South Korea's Public Procurement Service calls on Hajin Heavy
Industries to deliver the vessels by April 19, 2012, the company said in a
regulatory filing.
Shares of Hanjin Heavy were trading at 29,200 won on the Seoul bourse as of 10:10
a.m., up 4.29 percent.
