Yemen deports 2242 foreigners for illegal stay over 2008
SANA'A, Dec. 21 (Saba) - Yemen deported 2242 Arab and foreign
nationals of those who were arrested for illegal stay during the
period from January up to November 2008, an official at the
Migration and Passports Authority has said.
Among the deported were 1484 Arabs and 938 other foreigners,
statistics said.
The statistics said 40 sons of Yemeni women from foreign husbands
acquired Yemeni nationality and that 140 wives of Yemeni husbands
obtained it during 2008.
