Crown Prince meets BDF commander-in-chief

Manama, May 25 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), at Riffa Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the important role played by the BDF in enhancing military and defence cooperation between Bahrain and its regional and international allies. In this regard, His Royal Highness praised the combat performance of BDF’s armed forces and highlighted their significant contribution to the improvement of security and stability within the region. The Commander-in-Chief reaffirmed the BDF’s commitment to continued force development and to maintain Bahrain’s long-term security and stability.
