HM the King's achievements praised by Shaikh Khalid

Manama, May 22 (BNA): First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, and President of the Bahrain Athletics Association Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa has extended sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on being chosen by the Arab Creators Union (ACU) as the Best Arab National Personality for 2015 and granted the ACU Oscar and the Creativity Excellence Medal. Shaikh Khalid affirmed that the top Arab honour was bestowed upon HM the King as a result of his pivotal and positive role in dealing with local, regional and Arab issues. He praised HM King Hamad’s influential stances on strengthening bonds and relations among Arab countries for the sake of enhancing Arab unity and denouncing all forms of extremism and terrorism, noting that HM the King has always been, and still is, a leading supporter of efforts to enhance joint Arab action and resolve GCC issues. He added that HM King Hamad had taken innumerable steps to support creators in the kingdom and abroad through his landmark contributions and initiatives in the fields of literature, culture, among other vital fields. He explained that HM King Hamad was honoured thanks to his pioneering initiatives, visions and strategies in support of the Arab Nation’s progress. He lauded the development and progress boom witnessed by the kingdom during HM the King’s prosperous era.
