Arab regional centre presents Algerian heritage lecture

Manama, May 21 (BNA): The Arab Regional Centre for International Heritage hosted a lecture on Algeria's ancient architecture presented by Oran University (OU)'s Architectural Engineering Professor, Dr. Dalila Sanhadji, who outlined key profiles of ancient architecture and latest repair works in the city.
The director of the Arab Regional Centre for International Heritage, Dr. Munir Bushnaq, affirmed the importance of spreading knowledge about humanitarian architectural heritage in Arab countries, pointing out that the regional Centre under direct supervision of Shaikh Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa the Chairperson of its board of directors, and as part of its strategy strives to preserve Arab heritage and boost awareness of its importance and communication with experts from all the relevant bodies.
Dr. Dalila Sanhadji expressed her delight at being here in Bahrain to talk about Algeria's ancient architecture, and also expressed her gratitude to the Kingdom of Bahrain and to the Arab Centre Regional Centre for International Heritage citing the role in the efforts aimed to boost the position of architectural heritage in the Arab world.
