Iranian economist praised in Japan

Tokyo, Dec 21, IRNA - Iranian Economist Professor Mohammad Naqizadeh, who has received Japanese "Order of Sacred Treasure" was praised in a ceremony in Iran's embassy here.

In the ceremony, Iran's Ambassador to Japan Abbas Araqchi said
Professor Naqizadeh is great professor of economics and an economist
who has worked a great deal on the economy of the world as well as of
Iran and Japan.

He added, "We Iranian are proud that Professor Naqizadeh has received
Japan national and sacred badge from Emperor Aki Hito." The Order was
granted to the professor because of his efforts and participation in
the field of research and educational development in Japan.

The ambassador continued, "Professor Naqizadeh is the first
non-Japanese scientist who has ever received the Order."
On the other hand, Professor Naqizadeh, 66, is the youngest scientist
who has received the order.

Professor Mohammad Naqizadeh has been teaching Economics both in Iran
and Japan universities.

He has written several books in economics in the English, Japanese and
Persian languages.
