President Saleh sends letter to Saudi king

RIYADH, Dec. 20 (Saba)- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King of
Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz received on Saturday a letter
from the President Ali Abdullah Saleh concerning warm relations and
means of enhancing cooperation between the two brotherly peoples.

The letter also dealt with the current developments in Somali and
risks of piracy in the international waters of the Arabian Sea and
Indian Ocean as well as coordination between the two countries to
strengthen security and stability in the region.

The letter was handed over by the Deputy Prime Minister for Defense
and Security Affairs and Minister of Local Administration Rashad
al-Alimi.

Al-Alimi conveyed regards of the president Saleh to the king wishing
him good health and more prosperity for the Saudi people.

For his part, the king Abdullah asked al-Alimi to convey greetings
to the president Saleh and wishing president Saleh good health and
more development and progress for the Yemeni people.
