RCO bazaar generates BD 187,000

Manama, May 4 (BNA): Under the auspices of the Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa; the RCO and Sovereign Arts establishment organized the eighth bazaar in the presence of ministers and corporate officials. During the ceremony, a public auction was held to sell the winning students paintings. The Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa also Honorary President of the Bahrain Fine Arts Society contributed one of his own hand paintings, Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed the RCO's Secretary-General contributed a masterpiece depicting a portrait of HM the King with one of RCO-sponsored children, which yielded the highest selling price. The exhibition/bazaar generated BD 187,000 allocated to provide RCI-sponsored children with health, social and educational services. Lamar Holding B.S.C . donated BD 20,000.
