Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad to patronise charity auction

Manama, May 2 (BNA): Personal Representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs and Board of Trustees Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO) Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa will patronise tomorrow the charity auction of the second charity art exhibition at the Four Seasons Hotel. Proceeds of the auction will benefit the RCO-affiliated orphans in the scientific and medical fields. The RCO organised in cooperation with the Sovereign Art Foundation the art expo in which many students from Bahrain schools took part. A collection of outstanding drawings was chosen by a special committee from Bahrain Fine Arts Society. The exhibition was inaugurated last week by Interior Ministry Undersecretary for Nationality, passports and Residence Affairs Shaikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of Bahrain Fine Arts Society. He contributed with a personal painting and donated BD 10,000 to start the auction. The RCO Secretary General Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed thanked Shaikh Nasser for patronising the event which aims to extend further support for the RCO-affiliated orphans, in line with the directives of HM the King to ensure a favourable climate and a decent life for all RCO affiliates.
